Family Guy Fans! Seth McFarlin has a new series coming out on Fox!

Seth McFarlin the creator of family guy also has American Dad coming out next year along with new episodes of FG.

Basically Dad is an ex military guy that now works with the CIA close to GW and was rescued by an obese alien from Area 51. He has a weiner son who has no pubes at age 14, a hippie daughter, a goldfish with a horny german man's mind in it, and the alien who saved him that live together.

Looks like it has potential, pilot has it's chuckles but oh the potential of mischief.

I did not find that pilot funny at all. It has to may similarities to Family Guy. Instead of dog they have an alien, instead of a baby they have a German fish.

Frankly, I bet Family Guy's pilot wouldn't have been as funny as the actual season either.

The Family Guy pilot is on one of the DVD sets. You are correct, it isnt really that funny. Is amusing, but not nearly as laugh out loud funny as the series.

As I said the last time this was posted, American Dad just strikes me as trying too hard to be funny.

The Family Guy pilot wasn't too bad. They didn't end up changing much for the actual episode.

The trailer was 100% unfunny. If that's the best they can come up with to promote the show it's going to fail spectacularly.
