His 17,000 sq ft home, is actually only 5,000 sq ft (so he says) unfinished, with the remaing 12,000 or so being just a tunnel traveling down the cave and unlivable.
 
Looks decent enough.
Cave living would have the heat/air advantage. Plus protection from nuclear blast and easy defending from zombie attacks.
 
That would be cool, but I"d want it to be professionally engineered by people who work in tunneling and that sort of thing. You know, for the safety aspect of it. 😛

And this is obligatory: how is Festus formed?

yes. I am sure not going to pay $300k but that would definitely be awesome.
