Of the two, Robertson is probably the most dangerous, being an open advocate of Christian Reconstructionism, and the imposition of biblical rule rather than constitutional law... takeover of the Republican party being just a starting point...

That's an interpretation. Putting "our freedoms" in quotation means that Falwell said that, and that doesn't appear to be the case.
