There was a patch a couple weeks ago. Dunno if it fixed this or not, but do you have that?

Aside from that, the best advice I can give is to either reload from an earlier save (You HAVE been making multiple saves, right??) or to wait 15-20 seconds after they go through the door to go through yourself. Or, if it's hanging at the loading screen, try installing the game to the hard drive and see if that helps. It's been known to help with other issues.

I think i downloaded the patch since i'm always online, i tried wondering around the room for about 30 seconds and it still froze.I also tried installing the game and playing it from the hddd it still froze.I'm going to take your advice and try a earlier gamesave i hope it works because i'll running out of options.I'll post if the earlier gamesave option works or not.

Wasn't there some trick with clearing the game's cache on your hard drive, too?

Try loading your save, than after it loads give it a sec than save as a new save, don't over write an old save. Then exit out and load from the new save.

I also did the hard drive maintance, go to memory, highlight the hd and press Y. From that point there is a button combo that you enter that will open a new option to clear the cache. I can't remember the combo so you'll have to google it, and depending on what games you have you might want to read a bit on this.

Hit Y after you highlight the HD in System Settings -> Memory:

X X LB RB X X

This will clear your cache (you will not lose anything important), clearing game patches -- just launch the game and update through XBL normally. This has helped some of my issues on games such as Halo 3 and CoD4.

up, up, down, down, left, right, left right, a, b, b, b, a, b, a, b, a, b, up, down, left, up, a, right, right, down. That'll do it, just kidding! Good luck :)

Clearing the cache can help, at least it did for me.

When you do it though it clears game updates also, but the next time you play a game that has one it will just pop up and tell you that you need to get it or be logged out of live.

JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FREEZING ISSUE FIXED WITH NO PATCH FOR ME xD

I fix my issue with jefferson memorial. it took some time to figure it out. for me, it was my lvl, i could not be lvl 18+ when i got to this part. i loaded up a file from when i was lvl 17 and when to tranquility lane, saved my father n so on. when i went to jefferson memorial this time....the game did not freeze. GREAT SUCCESS!

Try going to a saved file to where you are not the same lvl and drop everything your doing and go stright to that quest and finish that part. it worked for me, hopefully ot will work for you.
