Agreed, and my pipboy.
Though I do prefer to have digital copies of games as opposed to physical. Best case, I'd want both.

IF I buy FO3, it will likely be on Steam. My main concern would be with mods. Getting mods to work with Steam versions is . . . problematic.

Yeah, I was worried about that...that's why I didn't go for Direct2Drive.

GAHHHHH! If only I had waited 2 days. I ordered Fallout 3 on eBay on Wednesday. I suppose that's not horrible, since I get a boxed copy, and after eBay cashback it was $41, and it's a boxed copy.

STILL, I prefer digital distribution now. Especially Steam. And, I'm going to have to wait a few days for my boxed copy to get here, whereas you could pre-load fallout 3 now (right?).

Just saw this. I'm not big on preordering, but I do plan on buying it on Steam. If it gets bad reviews, I'll just wait for it to drop in price a little.

I like having a digital copy. I usually end up pirating the games that I've already purchased because I like having that backup (in case I lose the disc, disc is destroyed, etc.). I just keep a big text file full of my CD keys in a few locations.

With Steam I don't need to bother doing any of that, which is great. I don't think I'd get any use out of the lunchbox or pipboy... as much as I love to get my nerd on, I'm just not feeling it.

If you log onto Steam it has the countdown to 'unlock' if you click on the game. Right now it's appx. 2 days, 18 hours. Which makes it noon on Tuesday if my clock math is correct.

I wanted that Survival edition SOOOO much for that pipboy, but I just can't justify the disposable cash expense :(

I'll be at GS on Monday night though, for the midnight release :)

Holy shit. Had no idea the collectors was coming with a lunch box.

Would be cool.

That processor requirement isnt for real right? a s939 will definitely meet the defaults right?

The Fallout 3 website says the minimum is a 2.4 Ghz Pentium 4, so I don't see why a socket 939 A64 wouldn't work.
