I typically like FPS games on the PC and action games on the console. I'm not sure which way to go with this one. Anyone get a chance to play it somehow/somewhere? Is there a 360 demo?

Remember Oblivion PC vs 360? PC was far, far superior thanks to all the mods.

Bethesda is apparently shipping Fallout PC without modding tools at first but it will be modded.

I think it's going to be better on PC, but I'll probably play it on a console because it's "free" from GameFly.

Nope. There wasn't one for Oblivion so I wouldn't expect one for Fallout 3.

I'm getting it for the console simply because my PC is getting too old to run any newer games and I'm not paying to upgrade my PC right now.

I think I'm gonna get the PS3 version simply 'cause I don't like playing games on my PC. Laying back on the couch shooting away at some monsters on the big screen is my definition of fun. People say PC version look better, but I can't tell. I'm playing BioShock on PS3 and it looks fantastic.

Just built a computer from some good parts from a friend. Got a E8400 @ 4ghz, 8800GT 512MB and 4GBs Ram. Got it from some money a friend owed me. He only owed me 100 bucks and gave me this LOL. but i think im just gonna get it for the 360. I just wanna chill all week laying on the couch playing Fallout 3 and Fable 2.

I will get it for the PC once the GoTY edition comes out and the price drops, no rush... I have not beaten Oblivion fully yet and my final year of CS is keeping me busy. PC version will likely be ideal due to the expected free player / community made mods and it will likely be cheaper than the PS3 version (already have a gaming PC and a PS3). Mods are what make Oblivion tolerable.

Hook up your PC to that TV and use your xbox controller while sitting on your comfy couch, connectivity is basically the same these days. You can easily enjoy both your xbox and your PC on the same TV / couch / controller.

Nah gonna pass. I already have my PC setup in another room. Id also have to buy a Xbox 360 wireless receiver. Then id have to pick up a DVI to HDMI cable. I also don't have any room for it in my living room. I don't really game on my PC at all. The only thing i play on my PC is TF2 but i have not played it for months. Zombie Panic is another game i play also.

I'll wait to see what they do with modding tools and such. If the tools are released, I'll buy it for PC (same with oblivion and morrowind). If not... probably will buy it for 360... assuming the reviews are favorable (I don't doubt they will be - but I want to hear some first hand player testimonials).

After reading all the BS news on no DLC and trophies for the PS3 version, I thinking about holding off on the purchase until they come out w/ the GoTY version like Oblivion.

I'll do the usual "Put both the 360 and PS3 version in my game queue" thing and play whatever gamefly ends up shipping first. (Its almost always PS3)

Even though my rig would probably handle F3 fairly well, my desire to game on the PC is pretty much gone.

I'm getting it for the 360 since I don't game on PC's anymore. I played Oblivion on the 360 as well, and I enjoyed it.

360 probably, i cant be bothered with anything other than RTS's and the occasional FPS on the pc anymore. Lying in a bed playing on a massive tv just beats sitting at a desk...

PC. The series started as a PC game so I'm going to play it as intended. Plus it will have mods and is has Games for Windows integration so I can get achievements for my live account.

360. I never found modding all that compelling on Morrowind, and I enjoyed Oblivion plenty fine on the 360.

Assuming the mod tools come out, PC. You can always rely on the modding community to fix what Bethesda fucks up.

I'll probably get it for the 360 first since I generally find controllers more comfortable than keyboard/mouse, and then in a couple years after some mods have come out I'll buy the PC version at a discount.

PC cause I want the controls and convenience of being able to open a browser and bitch immediately if I BSOD or CTD;).

I'll miss out on some of the graphics that my PS3 probably could do though.
