Warcrow,
How 'M' is it really?
a lot of cussing?
typical video game violence, or over the top?

Just wondering if this is a title I can play while my 9 yr old son is around in the room, or if I need to hide it for the later night sessions.

thanks.

I haven't played it nearly as long as warcrow, but here's what I've picked up.

- There is definitely cussing. It's not rampant but they don't try to avoid it either.
- The combat system allows you to shoot off the arms, legs, and heads of your enemies.
- There are also several scary/gross mutated radiation monsters like "centaurs" that probably would scare the crap out of a 9-year-old.
- Sexual themes are very discreet. The end result is significantly tamer than an episode of a typical prime-time TV show.

The decapitation and dismemberment is probably the biggest concern. Seeing an enemy's head fly off trailing blood is pretty intense for a kid.

Yes, in my experience there were some F-bombs dropped, but more importantly I think the content and gore might be a little much for a 9 year old.

Also, I want to mention, without spoiling too much, that at some point in the game everyone needs to head north in search for the "Oasis".

Trust me on this. The fans of the originals will definitely appreciate it.

IMHO, seeing some dude's head blow apart and eyeballs go flying is over-the-top (and, OK, totally awesome). Not for kids.

PC version for "Console access" is worth its weight in gold.. specially at 10 dollars cheaper.
If things go borked like key NPCs falling to thier doom in the 360 version you cant get to the console to res them.
instead forcing a reload.

The console to me is Invaluable no to mention being able to use it to mod anything in the game.
add items.. add levels. add stats.. etc etc.

same console codes as Oblivion for the most part as well.
