PS Blog has a post from one of the Bethesda devs announcing that the Fallout 3 DLC for the PS3 has been delayed until the latter part of September (correction: Why the hell did I originally type December????).
The good news is that they will be releasing Broken Steel first and not Operation Anchorage. This raises the level cap to 30 and allows you to keep playing after you've complete the main quest. After that, it will go to the regular order of releases - Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, etc.
Still, with the DLC release not coming until December, you're probably better off holding out for the GOTY edition which is due in October unless you already have the game or need something to fill the rest of your summer.
