other than that weird fuck-up, I'm liking this level cap lift a bunch 🙂

enemies seem harder to kill though it's hard to say, VATS is weird sometimes.

OA was alright, Pitt SUCKED, and Broken Steel is kinda cool. Over all it makes the Fallout 3 world... much much... crazier. Haha. I love the random crazy things this game does.

I'm not seeing that. Deathclaws are still a one hit kill with Chinese stealth armor + Terrible Shotgun, and I can kill multiple Enclave soldiers within a single VATS instance. So, it isn't terribly challenging.

IMO, they should have also raised the level cap/changed the ending with the first DLC. I don't think I have enough game content left to level up to 30 without killing things for no reason other than gaining XP.

yeah i ended up starting a new save game to play through the game in it's entirety. that chinese stealth suit is simply overpowered. i can wear it and sneak through any level pretty much and kill everything in one shot with a deathclaw gauntlet. it is a pretty awesome combination since melee attacks don't break sneak mode.

Yeah, neither do silenced or long distance weapons. One hit kills with the Perforator from 100yds away. One guy's head explodes, and the guy next to him doesn't ever see me before he's painted on the floor as well.

I've considered playing without it and just using the Ranger Armor I was using prior, but that sort of defeats the purpose of making a stealth character if you don't use the best armor in the game for stealth.

They should have just given it a serious weakness, like say animals could smell your presence and/or robots could sense the electromagnetic energy of the suit. Or make it less effective as it wears out. I dunno, something.

I'm glad I never grabbed that armor and I started a fresh game without beating a bunch of stuff before getting the Broken Steel. I already beat almost everything my first run through but this time it still feels like a bit of a challenge.

Vegas is probably going to suck.. I just want Bethesda to concentrate on Elder Scrolls 5 😛
Oblivion was fucking amazing
