Fallout 3- All Platforms/all editions on CC.com come with $10GC and mini-guide

I'm already waiting for my "Survival Edition" from Amazon, but this is a decent deal for a brand new, highly anticipated title.

Mmmm... I can't wait for this game... And GTA4 for the PC. It's gonna be some good PC gaming this fall. 🙂

Isn't Circuit City going out of business? My sceptical self says 'what if they go out of business before the game comes out?' No game, no gift card, no way.... 🙁

What? You just make that up?😕

BTW, they send you the gift card immediately, it's an e-card you can use online or in-store and has no expiration date.

I am excited about fallout 3 to the point of soiling myself. I predict it will be groin grabbingly awesome.

Yeah, say it's larger in scope than Oblivion now, with over 10k possible endings.

My biggest concern now is if my setup can handle it. E6600 /w 8800GT SLI and 4Gb ddr is even getting a bit long in the tooth for 1080p play.

If it's just a rumor then there's no reason to repeat it. Not even sure why you bothered posting a link to that site.

Oooo, larger than a never ending game? (There's a rumor that Oblivion has an ending....)

So err... what prevents you from pre-ordering, then cancelling when you get the GC? Do they take it back?

They charge you $10 up-front for the GC then I assume will charge you -$10 when they ship the game. Obviously they're not stupid.😉

If you're a long-time fallout fan, you should be warned that its very different from the previous two. Gone is the isometric 3rd person tactical view. It's now like Oblivion style play, with a tactical combat mode.

Still, Bethesda is pretty much king of RPGs, so if there's any studio you'd want developing this title, its them. I think they really nailed the art direction.

With Fallout 3 you will be given the option to play 1st or 3rd person and combat will either be turned based or realtime.

You think you're worried.

I'm running an over clocked e4300, 2gb ram w/ an 8800GT non SLI. =P
