I think that is part of it for me. He tries to be so anti alien almost like he goes out of his way to look like he hates them more then anyone else so no one will think he is working with them.

Oh yeah, one thing that bugged me about this last episode was how easy/quick/willingly the new president took Mason's resignation. I mean she didn't even give the standard line of you can't do this, rethink it etc. That bitch has her own plans and has been waiting.
 
Yeah I mentioned about her earlier, she as just a hair shy of pushing him out of the office when she heard what he was doing.

He has been personally compromise multiple times via his family. I'd want him out of office / power too.

um, you're trying to stab his fucking brother with a big ass knife, wtf did you expect?

Assuming the Pickett's left after the Mason left - afraid they would come back and kill them or something?

doctor chick being the spy was ridiculous. whats the reasoning for having so many of those damn bug things? Is she infecting other people or what? And when/where did she get them?

Yea I loved how one side would have 3 of the 4 covered yet one gun on one of them means they placed all their guns down and the same thing when the other side gets one gun on them.

I am going they went to the town to check things out and this way they can use them as telling the group they are still out looking for the wife and kid and maybe even some later dealings when the family gets back.

We will have to wait for a backstory on how she got them but it does look like she will be using a bunch to take over other people.
 
I wonder how they got to her, she hasn't (at least as shown to us) been anything close to being in the field in a long time. And looks like they solved the hal issue by massively infecting her.

Nice way of bringing the alien back. And guess we don't have to worry about 2 presidents now, that was a pretty cold ass killing.

Only 3 shows left, damn you short seasons! And do we need a cliffhanger at the end of every episode.

Will be interesting to see if we find out why the farm was empty.

So they need to massively overcharge the defensegrid enough that it blows the entire thing up, without blowing up the planet, or all the humans will die. Let's just start rolling craps.

She doesn't have control of them probably and is playing host to the extra ones till whichever fish head is controlling them makes their move.

The Pickett farm being empty is weird. Made me think back to like season 1 I think where the old lady was working for the aliens by giving them info and they would leave her alone and give her food. What if the Picketts had a similar arrangement where they hold people and in return are left alone in that area.
 
The kids seemed to have no real experience with anything alien when they were talking, and they didn't do anything to really delay them other than taking their stuff.

I thought that was a unintentionally funny moment. Every time I think the writing couldn't get worse it gives me something like that. This show seems to fall farther and farther down the crap hole for me, which is a shame it started out OK... to be fair it's not Defiance bad.
 
Dumb and a waste of time gun exchanges with the hillbilly family. So, Noah gets caught again, nothing new.

At least when he gets picked up it always works out.. I know I for one am always happy when the guy that is held by my enemy is put in charge of everything like nothing happened..
