"Falling Down" with Michael Douglas

NFS4

No Lifer
LMAO, me and my dad are sittind down watching this movie right now. This is such a classic 🙂

I wish I could just go off like him one of these days 😛

Pardon me, but that's bullsh!t. You see, I don't think anything's wrong with the street! I think you're just trying to justify your inflated budgets! I know how it works! If you don't spend the projected amount this year, you don't get the same amount next year! Now, I want you to admit, THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE STREET!

Bad news. Your little car's gonna drown. And you're gonna die, wearing that stupid hat. How does it feel?

That movie is the shiznit😉

MDouglas: "hey kid, do you know how to work this.."
Black kid: "are you shooting a movie?"
MDouglas: "yeah..yeah...."

One of my favorite movies of all time. An ordinary, working-class man finally snaps and decides not to put up w/all the daily BS anymore...especially with the woman that took his child away.

It's good in much the same way that GnR's "One in a Million" song is good. Tightass people don't it and get their panties all in a bunch about it. Not a perfect movie though, but Douglas and Duvall carry it very well.

That woman was his ex-wife.

[picks up the flat hamburger he just ordered, comparing it to the picture behind the counter]
Bill Foster: Can anybody tell me what's wrong with this picture?

it's disturbing that you have respect for people, fictional or otherwise, that threaten and/or harm women.

OK, you've spoken your opinion. :cookie: We all have our opinions and feelings about real world events or fictional events. It is what we actually do in real-life that matters. Period.

One of my all-time favorite movies. Hit on so many valid points. Lots of classic lines as well.

You think I'm a thief? You see, I'm not the thief. I'm not the one charging 85 cents for a STINKING SODA. You're the thief. I'm just standing up for my rights as a consumer.

That was the best part...the typical 10 year old in LA knows how to use a rocket launcher 😀

I've been through the old "It's 10:32, no more breakfast" thing too. Heheheh....

ROFL! That was my favorite scene. Especially when he got change from the register. 50 cents!

That nazi in the store was screwed up though. Also, Robert Duvall's wife in that movie was annoying as hell!
