Der Komissar was recorded by After the Fire. However, Der Komissar is listed on Falco's greatest hits record. Here's the $1 question: Was Falco the lead singer for After the Fire, or did he just cover the song?

Falco was Falco. He was born Johann Holzel but changed his name to Falco in honor of the German skier Falko Weissflog. In 1983 After the Fire did a cover of his song from 1982.
