I received in SNAIL Mail a bill for 79.79 for Yahoo Web Hosting.

Thing is, I don't owe Yahoo anything...I even called them and they verified this with their billing
department (I used to use their web hosting services)

The phone number on the letter is like a voice message / cell # that never picks up.
The letter address to me just has my last initial and...

wants the payment to be paid to

YAHOO STORES
MS LAURA WHITLACH
701 FIRST AVENUE

SUNNYVALE CA 94089-1019

should i just toss this document...how should i proceed?
i'm going to log this as mail fraud with the us postal inspector

anyone want to pay a visit to this place > =) hahaha...

Check my second link. That address is the actual Yahoo address. If you want, I can take pics of the Yahoo building for you.

Sounds like an inside job though. I don't see why Yahoo would request a payment to an actual employee's name though. Wouldn't you write the check out to "Yahoo"?

1) Throw SPAM away.
2) NEVER register a domain or web hosting through Yahoo! unless you enjoy being ripped off at 5x the cost.
