Pathetic that caribou Barbie took a shot at someone who actually follows through on their pledges to donate to charities. Trump has to be shamed into actually coughing up the money he loudly proclaims he is going to donate.

Nah. The real question is why would anyone care what Sarah Palin says about anything?

Perhaps because she represents mainstream conservative values. She is one of the most popular and beloved Republicans there is. If you want to get the pulse of what the typical Republican thinks, you need only listen to Sarah Palin.

Oh so when he says he's going to give to charities he actually does it? That refreshing in this day and age...

Yea Colin is doing it all wrong. The Trump way is to talk about giving without actually giving.... especially to the poor.

The question is WHY WOULD PALIN say something about it? If the story is true (which I am doubtful of), that would mean that Palin was taking a shot at Colin and at Meals on Wheels. It would confirm what many liberals believe about conservatives..... that they hate poor people and will do anything in their power to NOT help them.
First of all, Meals on Wheels doesn't even work, and even if it did, taking away entitlements is the most compassionate thing you can do.

The records don't show that he has a history of having been particularly charitable (I assume), so obvious political stunt is obvious. It's also fine. Palin is right. "Life is political." And she can tell a stunt when she sees one.

The whole refusing to sit (or stand, whatever) thing was too much though.

All you believing this is in fact a "political" and/or "publicity" stunt are ignorant and closed minded as hell.
You really are stupid and vile.

So you have to have a "history" of being particularly charitable to do a non-self-serving act? Exactly when does one's "history" start?
In the past year+ he's become politically and charitably aware. He's only 29 years old and really only came into a LARGE contract in 2015 ($10M+) when in years prior it was sub ~$600K
So the dude becomes flush with cash, gets some life experience and knowledge under his belt and starts to become charitable but you want him to have a "history" of charity before you will believe his intentions? *sigh*

If he spent his millions on exotic cars and fast women, you are the same type of people that would jump on him for "wasting his money". Instead he's giving away more than you would in a dozen lifetimes and you still come down on him?

If anyone knows about Political Stunts it would be Palin. This doesn't appear to be one though.

That's a bit harsh. Ironically you're the one displaying both of those qualities: stupidity and... vility? I happen to think it's a great publicity (edit and political stunt). Why shouldn't people participate politically? Does your problem lie with his skin colour?

Who knew that even the Swiss would have nasty little trolls. A mountain troll or a valley troll?

How am I being stupid and/or vile? People here are claiming he's doing these donations as a political and/or publicity stunt. What brings them to think that? Why is it assumed he's motivated by those factors and not motivated by just helping out in places where he wants to and sees a need for? And HOW ON EARTH is my "problem" at all directed towards his skin color? I don't get the train of thought behind your post AT ALL

I'm not sure how his actions can be considered a publicity stunt when the only way we even know about this is from some has been trying to get a couple more minutes of fame.
