I have a fake antispyware that i cannot get removed from my pc. I know that there is already topics on this, but none of them help since it will not let me download them.

It has also disabled task manager and will not let me successfully run AVG.

Any tips, suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

The fastest way through it is to clean the drive and reinstall Windows from the ground up.

I would pull the drive and see if you can scan and clean it from another system first. If that doesn't work (sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't) then you are looking at very thorough deep searches to find and eliminate the files by hand, or a full reformat, preferably with FixMBR thrown in for good measure.

Try this link and see if you can download this Zip file: http://193.110.109.55/linux-we...ue-cd-release-3.00.zip

If so, extract the .ISO file that's inside that Zip file, burn it to CD, and boot your computer from this CD. It's the F-Secure Rescue CD. Let it update its signatures and run a scan.

After that, start Windows again and see if you can download security stuff now, such as Superantispyware. I also suggest eliminating the known vulnerabilities that the bad guys use to foist this stuff on you, with Secunia's free Personal Software Inspector.

If you want a really big leap in security, also try a non-Administrator user account and see if that'll work for you. Without Admin powers lying around, this stuff will not be able to put down deep roots, if any at all.
