Fake anti virus removal tools

These are a group of tools that can be used to remove the various fake security and anti virus warning programs. Dial A Fix does not remove the virus, but it will fix restricted security rights that prevent someone from changing their display settings, which is a symptom with some of these viruses. Some of these fake programs are also bringing Vundo in with them, so that removal tool comes in handy as well.

Other clean up programs that work pretty well to remove the leftover traces of these fake programs are SuperAntiSpyware and A-Squared.

ComboFix is one of the more useful tools. I have used it to clean malware from computers that Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and SuperAntiSpyware could not.
