I would not be against the NFL and NBA forcing rookies to go through money management course after getting signed.
I wouldn't be against colleges forcing all incoming freshmen to take a money management course after getting accepted. Athlete or not. :awe:

Even the one-and-done sports scholarship kids wouldn't have an excuse.

I'd be fine with it becoming a mandatory high school course. Hell, kids these days can't even balance a check book.

I definitely agree money management should be part of basic education. But how would Wall Street rape the shit out of us?

whats a checkbook?

I suppose the proper term would be "bank account" now, as checks have fallen out of common usage. Regardless of the system of tracking, being able to balance a budget beyond "swiped my card and it worked, must be fine" is something lost on quite a few people.

Money management is not a skill many people possess.

Used to see him around here quite a bit. Apparently has lots of family in this area.

speaking of high school... his aunt who taught P.E. failed me after someone stole my backpack with all my work in it and throwing a fit. she has his shoes on a shelf in her classroom.

That $30 mil Reebok trust is the smartest financial decision he's ever made in his life

I think it was made by his uncle, not Iverson. Also, I don't believe this article one bit. Zero evidence that it was Iverson. And, with $30m waiting for him, I doubt he's short of sycophants who will help him out.

And, Dari didn't read the thread. It is a satire piece done on an unfunny Onion ripoff. We've already established this. I'm sure those 37 posts before yours are taxing, but come on.

Iverson NOOOOOOO!!!

This man is a god and deserves much more. Come to Thailand Iverson. You can live with me. Do you like Thai food? 🙂

Don't be butthurt cause I only read the OP and not your opinion...

Shaq then went back to school and learned all about finance and has a few successful businesses he opened.

He actually has his doctorate in education, he is a fairly intelligent person and is I believe still continuing his education with law studies.

He is a perfect example why most Americans are broke or just breaking even and having till work like slaves until they are 70

OP is a fool. hahaha

Probably too busy making sure you get your second immediate thought out on this forum than to bother reading the article or considering the source. You've reached a new low.
