I am truly saddened by the recent rash of faith bashing posts in this forum.
In a world where its every man for himself, do unto others before they do unto you, take what you can and screw the other guy, anger, hatred, distrust and a lack of basic respect for our fellow humas rules.

Science is king. We live by our senses, what we can see, hear, touch, feel. There seems to be no room for anything else.

There is a message of hope right underneath our very noses....it been around since the beginning of time, unchanging, steadfast. For those of you that long for something more, that know deep down inside there has to be a reason for all of this....there is

His name is Jesus Christ. Seek Him out.

For the rest of you that will pounce on this thread in your anger, your hatred and your lack of trust......He loves you as well.

jesus may have been a great man, or a myth. either way he was just some dude that lived 2 thousand years ago. get over it. he was not the son of god, or god incarnate.

I do feel sorry for you having to feel the need to shove religion down these people's throats like that. There are better ways than wagging your finger at people to tell them about Jesus.

Anyways, hope you feel better. Science and faith can work together BTW. Both are in search of life's ultimate answers. It is just the two take different approaches to it. Hopefully in the end both will point to the Truth, but until then, it is best to leave the "bashing" to the ignorant. So try not to bash yourself.

I love that people feel the need to justify their existance - is it really that hard to accept that you are nothing more than an evolved, highly specialized bunch of cells?

Clearly we should all be accepting of your gay lifestyle that you have to tell everyone about but you can't be accepting of another person's belief in God.

I don't hate him, I just don't believe he was the son of god. He had a lot of good ideas, too, but unfortunately much evil is carried out in his name (which often overshadows the good).
To paraphrase the quote, it's the followers that are the problem. And not even all of them.
And don't act like you're being persecuted.
