I think his questions are fair; though he seems to be clinging to his guns out of fear...

update:
While his original remarks were a little ambigious—he said that his daughter "was in lockdown" during the shooting and that "her classmate’s little sister was murdered in Sandy Hook that day"—he's already gone out of his way to correct the error, emailing the Examiner to set the story straight:

"Thank you for the nice article about my testimony in Hartford. Unlike the Liberal media who don't let facts get in the way, I just wanted to let you know that my daughter does not attend Sandy Hook Elementary, but was in "lock down" nonetheless on December 14, 2012 at Reed Intermediate School (5th & 6th grade) about a mile away with her classmates, one of whom lost his little sister that day."

Summary for those of us that can't go to YT?

Dude tells congress (or based on the comments denying that it was congress, some other legislative body), to basically go F themselves when it comes to trying to take away his guns.

And I assume that "Sandy Hook Father" means that he had a child killed at the school?

I did not watch youtube at work.

Better fear than death. The boyscout motto is "Be Prepared". So if you own a spare tire do you live in fear or are you just prepared for that eventual flat tire? You live in fear of flat tires dont you?

This is how stupid your argument is.

Dont remember the LA riots do you?

I own handguns so that I may protect myself, my loved ones and my property. Fear of serious injury or death was emotions I learned to manage while I served in the U. S. Army. Two POS felons who invaded my home feared me because I was armed better than they thought I would be and they were both armed. I held them under armed citizens arrest until the police finally arrived (it took the police twenty minutes to respond to my 911). You should be very fearful for your well being if you intend to depend on the police to protect you or your loved ones....you are actually waiting on either the coroner or the EMT's. While there is nothing wrong with hoping for the best you had damn well better be prepared for the worst.

I cared when I read the thread title because I assumed, as was probably your intention, that the father had lost his child to the shooting. If you modified your thread title to clarify that the "sandy hook father" was not one of the ones that lost a child I certainly would not have bothered with the thread.

You're an idiot. The title would then read ".....a Sandy Hook victims father".

Idiots like him require things to be spelled out for him to be able to comprehend. God forbid people use their brain once in a while, but instead they prefer to parade their stupidity around with sarcastic posts.

Thank you for the correction I'll do my best to write thread titles in a way that will keep you from being confused in the future.

Wow, because I asked the OP to clarify if the guy lost a child at the shooting? That is not a legitimate question? I stated right in the first post that I could not go to YT.

lol, no, I was just asking a question. I was also just asking a question when I wondered why I should care what he thought. I figured there were a lot of potential reasons. Maybe he was close to one of the kids that got killed, maybe his kid was in the classroom, I thought there might have been something to this.

But clearly that is not the case, just a douchebag whining about guns.

Don't worry, I won't bother you deep thinkers any more. You can have your gun masturbation thread back.
