Faint Static After E6700 OC

I overclocked my e6700 from 2.7ghz (stock) to 3.6ghz with 1.45v, 1:1 DRAM (2 sticks of DDR2 Corsair 800). The RAM is at 2.0V (goes to 2.1v) and is running at 720. There have been no crashes, no major artifacts, slowdowns, anything. I ran Prime95 error-free for a while. It runs great and TF2 has never run better.

Heres the problem. On greyish colored areas of the monitor I can see what looks like green static. Its very small and randomly appears. I havent seen it in any game, just on greyish areas such as the background of a website or the grey area of my vista toolbar. When I switch to a page with different color its gone.

What is this? Should I be concerned? My core temps are all well under the concern area. My cpu and memory voltages are under the manufacturer limit as well. I did not overclock the graphics card but could the OC of the cpu messed with it? If so, what do I look for? Also, putting the BIOS back to default only lessens the static.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Changing my monitor hz from 75 back to default 60hz got rid of them.

Amerikaner,

Have you tried going back to 75GHz to see if it's also gone there? I assume you were at 75GHz with no interference before it started...

Sounds like some electrical interference with the video card at 75GHz. You might shut it down, remove/replace the video card and see if that helps. If not, try re-installing the video card drivers. If that doesn't do it, don't know what to tell you. Maybe clear the BIOS. That's free and could help...
