good... now they need to suspend the refs from the LSU vs. Auburn game for the rest of the damn season if not straight up fire them

SEC officials released a statement that the refs made the right calls in the Auburn/LSU game.

LSU lost, it was a good game(probably the best I've seen in quite some time), the Bayou Bengals will have a good season, get over it.

that's bullsh!t and you know it. if the teams were reversed you'd be calling for their heads too. everyone i know that watched the game (auburn fans included) knows LSU got hosed on no less than 3 game changing plays. i know we'll have a good season, and i'm not asking for the game to be awarded to us, but that crew needs to be held responsible for absolute atrocious officiating, the likes of which i havent seen since my arrogant high school science teacher when he took up volunteer officiating for middle school basketball.

The big one I'm sure you're talking about was the deflected ball by AU safety Brock. The SEC ruled that the deflection rendered the pass completely uncatchable and thus it didn't matter when the contact occured.

then why was it pass interference when the same thing happened on Auburn's side of the ball except LSU intercepted the ball instead of merely tipping it? if a tipped ball is completely uncatchable, then an intercepted ball surely is.

The player on the OU team was standing 10 yards and jumped straight up to get the ball. Look at the video again.
Look at player #4 on OU.

I haven't seen the OU game. What's going on in this picture. If that line is 10 yards away, then he's 10 yards away. I don't get it.
Onside kick.

Who kicked? Green (I didn't follow OU...was too busy with OSU, FSU, ND, etc) or OU? If OU kicked, then i'd call that a legit kick.

I think Oregon shouldn't play Oklahoma for the sheer fact that using "OU" becomes confusing.

Anyhow, as a starting point to another thread about this, someone ought to dig up the NCAA rule book and say verbatim what the rule is.

ou =okies uo= ducks
ku =jayhawks uk= kentucky

Fair enough, but know this: During the year I spent in Oklahoma, the locals always referred to the school as the University of Oklahoma.

To be completely honest, I don't know which call you're talking about, but if I'm reading the article correctly, it was that the LSU defender's contact with the AU receiver is what made the ball uncatchable for Auburn.

it was intercepted about the same distance from the Auburn receiver as the ball was tipped away from the LSU receiver. the only difference was the Auburn receiver was running away from the ball... making it all the more ludicrous to say that the Auburn receiver could've made a play if the interference wasn't there but the LSU receiver wouldn't have been able to save the ball from the tip if he wasnt being dragged down by a defender

either both were interference, or neither were. you can't have your cake and eat it too
