After 57 minutes, it says

FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.4999992703, expected less than 0.4
Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file
Tortue Test ran 57 minutes - 1 errors, 0 warrnings
Execution halted.

What do you think can be the problem?

heat or your voltage is not high enough to keep the CPU happy.
if your cooling is not the problem (please list your cooling method...air? what HSF or water)
then raise the voltage to the next mark

My cpu idles around 35 degrees C. and during the Prime95 Torture Test, I saw it up go up to 42 degrees C. This Tbred A is currently at 1.7V. I have a Vantec CCK-6027D HSF.

Currently, its at 1700MHz. Idling around 36-37 degrees C. right now. I just upped the voltage to 1.725 but when it was at 1.7, my cpu idled around 34 degrees C. I'm gonna run prime again since I upped to the voltage to see if that'll do the trick.

Is 3DMark2001 SE sh*tting me? It says Internal Clock Maximum is 2.2GHz. I highly doubt I can even hit 1.9GHz, maybe I can, but I want my cpu temp to stay under 40 degrees C.

Yes, it's shitting you... no software can tell you anything like that about your CPU. And no, you won't hit 2.2 Ghz with a T-Bred A =)

Whats up with this? I was running 3DMark2001 SE and before it did test #5, it all of a sudden just closed out on me. What do you think can be the problem?

Oh nevermind, it went through this time. Such a low score =(

Got your video card overclocked? If not, then that's a sign of instability in your CPU overclock... normally those lock up or reboot, which is why I asked about the video card... sometimes that just boots you to desktop.

I had my 1700+ running at 2.3 GHz with 1.65 Vcore and it locked up in prime after the 8th test or so (apprx. 5 minutes). It said FATAL ERROR OCCURRED just like you and then it locked. Should I keep upping the vcore? I'm kind of worried though because I have a silent Panaflo L1A sitting atop of the slk800 and it doesn't push too much air. Is it time to upgrade? I've had this hsf for around 2 weeks now......

Whooooa,, don't back out on that OC yet...

1.65 ain't $hit... Bump it to 1.7 and try again, you will get it stable...

That SLK-800 is keeping it cool.

Its not a big deal no more, everything is running stock right now because I'm reformatting my hard drive.

Specs before reformatting

MSI K7N2-Delta-L
AXP 1700+ Tbred A running at 1.7GHz 200 x 8.5 VCore at 1.7
2 x 256MB Kingston Hyper X PC-3000 running as PC-3200
A Piece of Crap Eagle 350 Watt PSU ( I definitely gotta ugprade this one)

Try fiddling with your memory settings. For instance, at 2600 mhz my memory craps out at 400 mhz (in prime 95) but at 333 mhz my Athlon does just fine.
