I am trying to install MythTV on Red Hat 9 and I need to first install apt/yum.

I downloaded the rpm here: http://atrpms.net/dist/rh9/atr...1.rh9.at.i386.rpm.html

Then, I tried to install it by typing" rpm -Uvh atrpms-kickstart*

However, I get this error:

warning: atrpms-kickstart-23-1.rh9.at.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 66534c2b
error: Failed dependencies:
libbeecrypt.so.6 is needed by atrpms-kickstart-23-1.rh9.at

How do I fix this problem? I am a newbit at Linux, so please take it slow. Thanks!

RH 9 is pretty old. You should probably upgrade to something recent. rpmfind.net lists it as part of beecrypt-3.1.0-3, but only offers this for fedora (atleast that's all that came up).

RedHat stopped producing the consumer version at 9 and merged it with a more community based distro called Fedora and Fedore Core 2 is their latest release.
