Failed Assassination Attempt Resulted In A Beatdown

Too bad the would-be shooter wasn't an American gun holder. American gun owners are experts at shooting unarmed victims.
 
And another gun saves somebody. Obviously the gun is the hero in this story, even though it was in criminals hand it refused to fire. Looks like the criminal should've stuck with using knifes as they're not known to go against their master.

Jon-Erik Hexum could tell you a blank cartridge in a gun can kill you. Or he could if he hadn't killed himself with one.
