Excellent challenge! Are we up to it??? I think so!

From my point of view - like me using a pea-shooter to try and sink a battleship :D :wine:
Not exactly ... several hundred (maybe like 400) folks like you could make that happen ... the goal is to figure it out and make it happen ...

if you have enough pea shooters ... you can sink a battleship ... but the key is to believe ... not to quit ...
I am not asking any single member to outproduce me ... but I am asking all of you collectively to diminish my status on this team ... it can easily be done ... get out there and increase production or recruit .... if enough new members with just 1 computer join this team ... it won't take that long to make me less than a 10% contributor ...

As I said ... the guantlet has been thrown ... how many of you are going to push it back in my face?

Since I quit D²OL, I've been looking for something to put my 3 PC's on, can't seem to find something that gave me the same buzz that D²OL did , but FAD is coming very close.
I've an Athlon XP 1900+, an Athlon XP 2600+ and a P3 800 running on it right now (although the P3 is only part time).
At the moment I've given up SETI-BOINC, CPDN, and EINSTEIN :(
Wish I had more PC's :)
That's all I can muster I'm afraid :D
PS
Watch out for Geoff

I'm back in action after all kinds of troubleshooting. I've lost my job history, but oh well! All my servers are crunching again along with the new one so watch out! Hopefully I can help with the Ukraine situation :)

sooooo ... to give you folks a target ... here is a thumbnail of the hordes:

The Golden Horde - 19 ... 6 < 1 gHz
The Blue Horde - 31 ... 2 < 1 gHz
The White Horde - 30 ... 29 < 1 gHz
The Kievan Rus Horde - 28 .... 23 < 1 gHz

For a total of 108 clients ...

about 60 < 1 gHz ... or more than 50% ... so ... a motley crew to say the least ... not very impressive individually but they do crunch on .. and on ... and on ....

When I get the time ... I have another 100 or so that I need to get online and crunching in a new ... unnamed horde ... when I get the time ...

also ... I have 2 computers to build and get crunching in the Golden Horde ... when I get time ...

The next two months are very busy with the trips and such ... so ... after Christmas ????

Excellent! I am glad you got it all resolved.

I am sure you will soon be outproducing me again :(, unless I can pull something out of my hat ;)

I'm just glad to be back helping the team and also to put a little heat back in the server room. It was getting cold in there with everthing sitting at idle :)
