Teammates,

Due to health reasons I cannot attend to the vast hordes. It occurs to me that I cannot leave the hordes to run in absentia due to potential liability issues. With this notice, I am shutting down vast portions of the horde. Of course, some will remain but it will most likely be a shadow of the once mighty hordes.

I hope no one is offended by these developments. It is life.

My humble appologies ...

No apologies necessary... just let us know if there is anything any of us can do to help! Like I said before... take care of #1 buddy! We'll all be here when you come back, eagerly waiting! :)

Besides, history teaches us that the Hordes rose and fell and rose again to mighty prominence! :D

Okay, took a while longer than expected but I've got the client installed and it appears to have detected all 4 processors correctly. And, yes, I've joined Team Anandtech -- I should show up as TA_networkman. :)

Which OS did you choose? What is the CPU rating you're getting? I have a Quad 500 (2 w/2MB and 2 w/1MB) and an 8-way 550 (only 7CPUs, but all with 2MB). I run WinSvr03

I hate to add more bad news but I too have had to shut down FaD on the big servers I've been using as they have gone into production with our new SAP implementation. After things smooth out with the upgrade I may be able to put some of them back online but until then, I'll be kicking in a lot fewer points...Sorry guys, I wish it didn't have to happen especially with Mondo going down too. :(

I just fired up my mass of junk. I have 8 more systems to bring online and hopefully I can offset *some* of the losses (my tiny pile is nothing compared to Mondo and kmoney)
