I am sorry it worked out that way. It was never my intent to organize the race and have this be the end result.

As for captain... who is interested? There have been polls in the past and you have made the point that you are not interested, is this still the case?

I am not interested in being captain.

May be a stupid question but why do we need a captain?
What does a captain do ?

The only thing a FaD Captain can do is send an email to all members of the TeAm via the FaD site.

Considering that most TeAm members are on the Forums, I am not sure how useful this is.

Could a captain do anymore to help boost production? I am not convinced he could do more than what we have accomplished w/ the discussions in the forums.

So a captain doesn't do much of anything that I can see.
The stats you and Geoff are doing are much more important to the team then anything a captain could do if you ask me.

This could be a valuable asset.

If done right, you could contact a new member to see if maybe he is having trouble with the client.

If someone drops out you could see if there is any problem that could be resolved to keep him on the TeAm.

If they became a friend and went MIA and never visited the forum anymore, the Captain could send an email to see if there was anything the TeAm could do to help with any problems.
