Factory reset on unlocked, rooted GS4?

Just sold this phone and want to wipe it before packing it up. Is there anything special I need to know or do before doing this? Does the fact that it is rooted and/or unlocked come into play when you put it back to square one? I don't want to brick this thing because I didn't know you had to do X & Y before Z. Many thanks to any who can advise.

Nevermind, just did a booted reset and it cleaned it out. Still rooted as well. I forgot how annoying AT&T Samsung phones form that era were when new. Sooooo much bloat. My GS7 Edge seems clean by comparison.
