Men (mostly) & women on this thread seem to forget that like almost everything about Oriental (ethnic Chinese, Japanese, Koreans+) & western physiques, Orientals have a significantly different type of facial hair from westerners. As an Oriental (ethnic Chinese) I have relatively fine hair on my face- relative to westerners. Moreover my facial hair isn't dense. All this makes it practical- & not just possible- for Orientals to pluck their facial hair because shaving fine hair causes more discomfort in skin irritation+ without enough benefits. I have never shaved in almost 54 years & have always plucked, once a week 30 years ago & now once in several months. My facial plucking takes 15 mins- about the same time as a wet shave? Fine hairs remain after my plucking, but too fine for anyone to see except my lovers & not at all irritating, unlike (I hear) some post-shaven men. Now in case westerners think my case is a rarity consider there are 2.5 billion Orientals in your world & you won't find too many bearded Chinese or Japanese++. In sum, shave if you're one of the few people in this world with beards. For most other men & women, save yourself the expense & bother & not get suckered by Gillette+ who tell you to shave to prove your manhood. Westerners have often portrayed Orientals (& everyone else except themselves) as people who hang from trees. I wonder who really hangs (their beards) from trees.
