facebook, that's what all my friends use and there's no shitty music when you open someone's page.

Originally Facebook, but after the new layout change and all the crap they added, I feel like FB is on the road to becoming another myspace.

I didn't like it at first, but the new one sorta conceals all the bullshit apps.

I just deleted my myspace account as I really didn't need it anymore... and it's a mess compared to facebook.

Facebook, definitely. I can't be bothered to look at someone's Myspace with music playing and animated rainbows in the background and shit.

Facebook FTW!

Much cleaner than myspace, has networks, everyone else I know uses it.

Myspace is trash.

I finally signed up for Facebook last night after my fiance decided to join up. I absolutely despised the idea of social networking sites beforehand, but I actually quite like Facebook. It's not as much of a cesspool as I thought it would be.

I don't know what you mean. I felt like the new layout (where all those ridiculous apps are now hidden) makes it much cleaner.

I hated it until I realized I didn't have to scroll for 10min on someone's page because they had about 500 apps. Now I never have to see any of that crap.

I use social networking sites as an indicator of who not to take seriously. The more friends you have, the lower my estimate of your intelligence, integrity and, experience.

Yea, that's a great estimate of one's ability and worth as a person.

having social networking page and having a life are not mutually exclusive. I haven't logged into my myspace in months, but that cause i don't like it. I use my facebook once or twice a day to check up on RISK games. You can have a life and be on one of those.

I hate both of them, but Myspace ever so slightly more. If anyone ever tells me to visit their MySpace page, I smile and nod, and say, "Sure, I'll do that!" I bide my time. I wait, a week, two, a month, a decade, who knows? But at some point, I pay someone to go over to their house, ring their doorbell, wait until they answer the door, scream "MYSPACE SUCKS!" right in their face, then run off. Revenge is mine!

Either that or I kill them with an axe.

I wouldn't take it that far, but there are "friend whores" out there who have something like 900 facebook friends, and I be they've only met half of them once. Kinda disgusting.

Edit: I personally have 236 facebook friends. I have interacted at moderate levels (at least) with the vast majority of them.
