Might want to make it a class action suit. Let Javascript and Flash get in on the action.

Certainly. I liked the OLD old Facebook. Back before applications, before the news feed, hell, back when the "Wall" was an actual wall, not a myspace-esque comments section.

They're more similar by the day, cause of fucking Applications on Facebook. I get probably at least one Application invitation from a friend everyday. They need an option to block that fuckin garbage.

If you feel the need to reduce yourself to a simple webpage for your friends to keep in contact with, instead of actual interpersonal relationships, then go with Facebook IMO. No where near the amount of <18 year old kids, less flashy crappy pages, etc.

Ever hear of a telephone? You can't have very real contact through these sites. Or at least there are much better ways of making more significant contact.

Sometimes you don't have their phone number. I used myspace/facebook to find then contact people I have not seen in years.

FB used to be clean, sleek, and minimalistic. Now there's all kinds of bullshit on there that I want no part in.

I recently viewed links to both. The Myspace one seemed much more dynamic (BGM etc), while the Facebook one seemed rather drab, yet IIUC Facebook is the most popular.
What's the differnece?

You probably don't have ANY friends.

If you move around a lot and/or have friends that live thousands of miles away it is a nice way to keep in contact. I have contacted friends I have not seen in years due to them living thousands of miles away with these networking sites.

I assume you mean "Who else in here doesn't use either?", in which case I raise my hand.
