Facebook Virus?

My roommate's Facebook account randomly posted some variation of this:

"hiya lol i cant believe is that you ?
have a luk urself...

(click open or run when prompted)"

on every single one of his friends' walls. WTF is it?

Well, it asks me to download an .exe file when I click on the link :laugh:

Hmmmm I've heard of a similar ploy going around on MSN. Basically its a virus that installs a standalone MSN client that runs in the background and sends a link that says its an image to everybody on your contact list. The link is actually a link to an executable file that then tries to install itself. Didn't click on the link but the actual domain has several subdomains attached to it to try and hide itself. The actual domain is 29496a57.info . I'm guessing that what this tries to do is similar to the MSN virus, it loads a standalone webbrowser, looks for your facebook info locally, gets what it needs to get into your account and plasters that address all over your facebook page.

Well, it asks me to download an .exe file when I click on the link lol :laugh:

The one on my wall had different shit after google.com and was an archive (don't know what kind, just that FF wanted to open it with WinRAR), but I deleted the posts...
