aka. "oh shit, my arguments have been made to look foolish, time to change tack!".

Also, stop calling it a "so-called religion". There's literally nothing to question labelling it as a religion.

If you're interested in the beliefs of others, try leading with that, rather than attempting to conflate societal models with religious belief. As far as I'm concerned, Western nations should be trying to lead by example; once we get our own shit in order (as opposed to say the US having a white supremacist president or the UK attempting to isolate itself from the world out of a misplaced sense of nostalgia for the days of the empire), then maybe we can act as an example of how to run a reasonably free society properly, and therefore people from other less free countries will either want to emulate our model or just move away from the bigots.

Having a "white supremacist president"? Really? ROFLMAO!

I am totally confused by all you liberals that support this so-called religion, islam. I thought you were for freedom of speech, freedom of and from religion, and that you supported a choice in lifestyles to include sexual orientation? Or am I totally wrong? Do you or do you not support these freedoms?

It's not a "so-called" religion. It is a religion.

And we're happy with freedom of religion, freedom of speech and sexual orientation rights (for reference, sexual orientation isn't a choice). But here's the thing: this also means defending people who may disagree with some of these views as long as they don't impose their views on others. And many, many Muslims don't impose those views; they'd be fine with Christian or LGBT neighbors. Certainly in North America, Europe and a slew of countries elsewhere.

You're trying to create a false dichotomy where we have to either condemn all Muslims as existential threats to humanity (as you do) or accept absolutely everything Muslim society does. But that's not how reality works. You can complain about ISIS, or oppressive Muslim governments, without assuming that every Muslim on Earth supports their exact same views.

Oh, and a friendly note: the Christian Bible supports slavery, killing LGBT people, subservient women and holy wars. Why are you so eager to demonize Islam while purposefully turning a blind eye to the religion that (to borrow your phrase) creates a "culture and a total way of life" in North America and Europe? Well, we all know the real reason why, but you're too much of a sniveling coward to admit it.

It's not a religion. It is a culture and a total way of life, to include politics. It is just rapped in the guise of a religion to give this evil culture a veil of respectability.

Let's see. He called Mexicans "rapists", he said that there were "very fine people" at the Nazi rallies, and he helped broadcast videos from a white supremacist organisation. What more do you need, for him to wear a Nazi uniform or say a KKK outfit?

Is Facebook a publicly traded company? Yes, it is. Then it has rules it must follow to operate here in America. Yes, even analogous to a baker not wanting to sell a cake to everyone that wants to buy one.

He called SOME illegal Mexicans rapists, and I'm positive some are.

Are you saying that all the people that supported the statue staying up were evil? And all that wanted it down were good. Boy, talk about your generalizations.

I'm not familiar with those videos but I would be interested in hearing about them.

"...as long as they don't impose their views on others."

And there is the rub. The muslim do very much want to impose their views on others.....by force.

Again, these moderate muslims live in America or other Western countries. They do not live in majority muslim countries.

He said “ SOME, I assume...are good people.”

The “supporters” that were marching that night were nazis. “Jews will not replace us” does not sound like something someone opposing the removal of a confederate statue would be chanting.

A fraction of them do. Not most or all. And punishing all of them for the action of a few is wrong.

There is no federal protection of hate speech or slander.

Furthermore, your fear and loathing of a religion is quite telling. You've been thoroughly programmed.

Every single claim you've made about Islam and Muslims in this thread can be applied to Christianity and Christians.

Just keep in mind that this so-called religion, islam, has as one of its main tenets, that all non-believers should be killed. How come they, the muslims, aren't banned?

So has, throughout its history, Christianity. Some sects still believe this.

But they have not changed yet. They still kill for their so-called religion. I will believe they have changed when there are both Christian churches and Jewish Synagogues in all muslim majority countries, especially Saudi Arabia.

More than a few Christians have called for a return to Christian theocracy in modern times. In its history, most Christian countries HAVE been theocracies. with punishment of death for following any other religion.

I am totally confused by all you liberals that support this so-called religion, islam. I thought you were for freedom of speech, freedom of and from religion, and that you supported a choice in lifestyles to include sexual orientation? Or am I totally wrong? Do you or do you not support these freedoms?

The irony of this post is you cannot see that you are acting with the exact same intolerance as the muslims you condemn with a very wide, and ignorant blanket. You are literally condemning yourself without even realizing it while thinking you're condemning others.

Bigotry, fear, xenophobia and racism are not conservative values. You've been duped. Time to wake up.

The “supporters” that were marching that night were nazis. “Jews will not replace us” does not sound like something someone opposing the removal of a confederate statue would be chanting.

Damn, shouting "Jews will not replace us"? Must be followers of the Black Muslims or the Nation of Islam.

"In its history, most Christian countries HAVE been theocracies. with punishment of death for following any other religion."

I agree. Now how many Christian countries kill non-believers today? How many islamic countries do. If you say none than you are ignorant of the real world.

"There is no federal protection of hate speech or slander."

The tort, slander, is to a person. I am telling truth about a culture/way of life.

Question: Are there muslim living and working in Israel? Are muslims in Israel elected to public office? Are muslims allowed and free to practice their "religion" in Israel?

Yes to all three.

Do Jews and Christians have the same rights in Saudi Arabia or Iran?

The obvious answer to a successful life is to kill everybody else before they kill you. Remember that everybody but yourself is 'other'. There is only one true believer, myself. Everybody else might just become a heretic the moment you turn your back.

It's not a religion. It is a culture and a total way of life, to include politics. It is just rapped in the guise of a religion to give this evil culture a veil of respectability.

So, I suppose no Christian culture would ever do that.....dominate politics, etc. Right?

Guess, with you being a non-American and totally unaware of the U.S.'s history, theocracy was a way of life in early colonial America, unfortunately. Take Mass. Bay.....if you were found to be a member of any other church/religion except the approved colony religion, you would be essentially exiled from the colony. If you were Catholic, you could be put to death.

In CT colony, you could only hold political office if you were an elder in the colony's church and approved by the head of the church. No exceptions.

Glad we got woke.

In point of fact, of the 50 muslim majority countries in the world, only one totally bans other religions and restricts religion: Saudi Arabia.

Yep. That's it.

Seriously, you're completely ignorant about the world and other cultures. Totally, pathetically and utterly ignorant. Therefore you have no business commenting on it. At all. All you should be doing is asking questions.
