Why should I go out of my way to do all of that when I can just as easily not go back to the site and still not miss out on anything. Now that I have the option to avoid ALL apps I can go back to using the site how I was before... keeping track of old friends and for event planning.

You mean you could just as easily not go back to the site and still not miss out on anything except keeping track of old friends and event planning?

No, by not using facebook I haven't missed out anything, that's my point. Facebook is merely a convenience and now that I don't have to deal with apps I'm more willing to use facebook again.

I really like this. Only problem is now I can't access the marketplace. It's the one app that I used. It used to be integrated into facebook though.

Love it! Wish it included Groups though (and included a way to have everything group-related in your news feed, and to turn on email alerts on group activity.)

it doesn't seem any different to me....??? it just redirects me to the old facebook when i log into lite it seems

Yeah - I can't add a photos to an existing album anymore. It looks like the only thing I can do is to post pictures under a new album. Nice idea, but some of the important features that were turned into apps (like Events and Photos) probably won't work right under the current implementation of FB Lite.

According to the message I got when I first went there, it's not completed. Let's hope they make it a version of FB from circa 2006. I'd be a happy camper then.
