Facebook has labelled the Declaration Of Independence as hate speech. A newspaper in Texas posted sections of the Declaration to discuss American history but Facebook found parts of it offensive and hate speech. This is just ridiculous and something is seriously wrong with Facebook if they think the Declaration of Independence is hate speech. This is just wrong and the censoring and political correctness really needs to stop.

Facebook should have allowed them to post the Declaration Of Independence and pay more attention to posts that are actually hateful but no they waste time attacking the Declaration Of Independence.

The answer to Democrats censoring Republicans is for Republicans to put together the resources and build their own social media.

Why build their own platforms when they can exploit the greed and lack of oversight on existing platforms.

FB is evil and brings out the insane in people.
FB people either fight over total nonsense, or continually post and re-post, and share idiotic photos or witty saying all day long about pets and kids and well.... whatever comes to mind.
The shares and reposts go on and on and on.
Like that disorder for excessive hand washing.

I know one couple that missed our 4th celebration yesterday simply because the wifey claimed she noticed her hubby looking at some cute model on FB.
WTF?
He doesn't even know this model. She's like a model maybe in her early 20's.
The model doesn't live in the same state nor the same area of the country.
And the hubby? He's 69 years old for gods sake. But still.....
The wifey was convinced the model and her hubby were planning to hook up behind her back.
That insane FB incident created enough of an riff within their marriage that the couple canceled their participation in our 4th activities.
And this same crap happens ALL THE TIME, with lots of other people, kids, neighbors, friends, boyfriends and girlfriends. To the extent we have school kids committing suicide over some FB nonsense posted by another student.

I say, take FB down!
Who needs that crap or the drama?
It keeps people detached from reality. From doing their job at work. From getting enough sleep. From life itself.
It's why when you order a steak well done, instead you get rare.
Or order a BigMac, and instead you get fish.
But you were too busy to check inside the bag because someone just posted something on FB.
Something you had to check out that very moment.

Go to any family gathering and you see people with their face stuck in their phone rather than talking and interacting. Totally ignoring one another.
The only interacting is later by responding to some FB posting from the very family member ignored when in person.
How F##k-ed up is THAT?

I always remind my FB addicted friends and family members why it was Mark Zuckerberg started FB in the first place.
To compare women's sexual attributes one against one other.
Women that Mark Zuckerberg didn't even know.
Using data from college databases that Markie hacked into.
To insult, criticize, harass, and degrade women.
And the evil little bastard still is at it. But now, he has millions of followers doing it.
Like some cult.
I'd love to one day see the little bastard broke, busted, homeless, and friendless.
Un-friended by his own invention.

It is so ironic for FB to have any moral legitimacy for labeling or for judging anyone or anything else.

Yes they are private. But what they did was completely idiotic. The Declaration Of Independence isnt hate speech.

You're an idiot. An automated algorithm caught words considered unsuitable on Facebook, not some nefarious person who is censoring the declaration specifically. Facebook corrected and allowed the post. For all the millions of hateful words used daily on Facebook, one thing that uses hateful words triggers you enough to post another useless thread. Fuck your feels.

I'm more convinced each time that you simply can't read, and have a difficult time comprehending what few words you can make out.

It happens. Trump supporters such as yourself mistook NPRs tweeting of the Declaration of Independence last year as anti -Trump propaganda.

Exactly. The article paints Facebook as some sort of thought police. But in reality they have a very reasonable system to screen for inappropriate content that may be viewed by children.

God could you imagine an all Republican social media site.

The only characters it would accept or show would be ASCII 32-96.

When facebook is mentioned, the answer is always the same, don't use it. The same applies to twitter. Just don't log in, don't peak, don't put in just the tip. Avoid the monstrosity of outrage and emotional overload. You'll be a happier person because of it. Speaking to a real person is infinitely more satisfying, even when it's someone you disagree with.

I agree with you, but seriously, are you ok? You’re not posting like you used to.

You may change your mind if it ever starts to be used as a justification for the violent overthrow of King Trump the Worst
