Where MS is typically ugly, but can look nice, and most of all, varies. Originally is a must to me, I couldn't imagine if every web site looked exactly the same. At the core they do the same shit. And if you polish a turd, it's still a turd.

Roflcopter @ "super ugly"
If ugly was a superpower, Rosie O'Donnell would own our asses.

You don't like it, but it is CLEAR that millions upon millions of americans prefer it. That minimalist fast-to-load design is why FB > MS
Conformity > you

MS still dominates FB in the US So apparently in the good ole' US of A, FB isn't preferred. I don't give a shit about what the rest of the world does, or likes![]()

Um, Myspace fully supports CSS. If you have even a bit of skills you could create a profile layout that looks nothing at all like the standard layout. In fact, since you have full control over the CSS coding, you could create anything you wanted. Sure there default templates suck ass, but at least they give you the option to spice it up. FB could at least offer my the option to code my own profile layout. And just have a feature where the people who want to see the plain, ugly, boring web 2.0 lite template could disable custom profiles and just see my info.![]()
