They do have more than one server people. Obviously the server he is on is having issues while the others are still up.
 
Looks like they now have a "News Feed" and a "Live Feed". My news feed was 6 hours out-of-date, around the last time I checked Facebook IIRC. Dunno what the point of having two is.
