Try setting flash to click to play and see what happens.
How do you go about that? I'm having the same problems...![]()
My mother keeps complaining about a pop-up that says something about scripts not responding or something like that. She's not using no-script but I do have FF running with sandboxie.
Thanks for the confirmation. The script message is fairly new so something has changed recently on FB. It shouldn't be an update because she's always a little behind on all her updates. I never know how full the sandbox is since it deletes on close. This happens to me a lot in Facebook using Sandboxie. Not sure if it's Sandboxie or not. Since I rarely surf without Sandboxie I'd have to try it one day without Sandboxie.
Sandboxie may have issues with JS and Flash, since I can't use Sandboxie with Pandora withot rendering becoming slow.
Sometimes I use http://m.facebook.com it is a javascriptless version. Facebook's best kept secret, or so lousy they forgot about it? :awe:I use NoScript as well, but there are scripts in Facebook that you have to allow otherwise the damn site won't work... never mind trying to play a game. I have to pull out plain vanilla Chrome if I want to.
