I'm with TooCool, overall it's great, but the black background just loses it for me.:(

Hmm, if I go with a white background, it seems to be too empty. The black helps fill int he blank areas. I'll try and tinker with the design a little, but I'm not sure if I'll abandon this one.

P.S. Thanks for the input.

Yeah, I'm thinking a color other than black might be good too.

What about a light blue or something like that?

I agree with the others: the black background should be replaced. However, I also agree that a white background is not the answer either. How about a picture for the background, like a company logo or something? Just a suggestion. Other than that it looks very professional. :)

Besides the black background, which I like anyway, maybe you want to turn the links in the upper right hand corner into a bigger toolbar type thing on the left hand side of the screen. As it is, those links go a bit unnoticed, and they should be the focus of the page since they are the most important thing on your front page. Just my $.02

There are two links on this page that are identical. I agree with SilentBoB about the links on the front page. I like the black background, but at 1280x1024 it still looks empty to me :p

SD, the Useful Links is to be added later. As for the resoloution, I am not targeting an IT market, thus I don't think anyone will use anything higher than 1024x768 (my setting as well.) Add to the fact that a lot of non-IT people run at 800x600, and you can imagine the problems of trying to fit a 1280x1024 onto a 800x600. I'm still leaning towards keeping the black, but I'm still trying different schemes.

Jay,
I like the home page in black, as is, you could make the links standout a bit more, also maybe linkify that PC image with your most important "who/what is MD Orlando" too.

The white text on black background on the sub-pages strains my old eyes, and I have a hard time focusing to read it. Maybe keep the black background, but add a background color to the text to make it easier on the eyes, or look for a different color against the black that doesn't produce as much eye-strain. (At least for my eyes, anyway. ;))

Overall, it looks professional and I like it a lot!
