Fable vs Fable: Lost Chapters

They're not totally different games.

The Lost Chapters is basically a re-release of the original Fable plus extra tweaks and content.

Wait, if it's a re-release... that means that all of the content from the original game is there + other stuff?

Yes, whatever is in the original is in Lost Chapters.

Yes, given the choice, you wanted Lost Chapters, anyway. There is not a whole lot of difference, but every extra hour of play (for a game that is already good) is appreciated. If you are really interested, you can read the reviews on a site like GameSpot (not gameSTOP the retailer, but gameSPOT the game review site). There are other game reviews sites, but that is just the site I usually go to first.

When they ported the original XBox game to PC, they added content (most likely planned content that had not been completed when the Publisher said, "STOP! Put your pencils down! Close your test booklets!" and enforced an ontime delivery. Apparently, when they pressed more DVDs for the XBox Platinum Hits, they used the Lost Chapters version, which is WIN for the XBox players.

Not an deep complex CRPG, but a fun action-pseudoRPG game and good first game to introduce someone into that game genre.

I played fable on xbox and now have the lost chapters on PC... the game is EXACTLY the same until the end. Where the game originally ended, you continue on new quests. Its like a built in expansion pack.

Great game by the way. You made a good choice.

Also, it isn't EXACTLY the same. There are I believe 2 additional areas that you can explore and do quests in (Bordello and something else.. I forget) There's also additional quests at the end as mentioned earlier. One of the top 3 XBox games in my opinion. I hope that Fable 2 is everything that Fable wasn't and more.
