Man, what an epic battle. Faber broke his right hand in the first round and injured his left later in the fight, and kept going. He had a great chance for a rear naked choke in the last minute, but simply couldn't hold it tightly because of his broken hand. Anyone else catch it?

GD DVR. I set it to record 15 minutes early and 2 hours late. All I got was the first round. :|

Just finished watching it. Sucks that Faber broke his hand in the first round but Brown owned him on the ground.

Even with the busted hand, he was doing a great job landing those right elbows. His speed is just amazing, I don't even think Torres can move that fast and he's a weight-class lighter. Not much he could do though when he was on the ground position-wise with what equates to a hand tied behind his back. Not to take away anything from Brown though, now he's 2-0 against someone who was/is p4p top 10 in the world. He deserves that spot now IMHO if he's not there already.

All-and-all this was a great card, some of these finishes were just outstanding. The one thing with the WEC and all these lightweight guys is you get some scrappers that just do NOT run out of gas and that's great to watch.

Bummer about close IA resident Pulver getting subb'd in 30 seconds on the undercard.. I think it's probably time to consider moving on like he discussed, but his opponent was definitely not a cream puff, man he was a huge 145'er.

i was bummed that Pulver lost. he has been one of my favorite fighters for years.

it was a good card. the faber/brown 2 fight was great. pity he broke his hand but he continued and made it a heck of a fight.

brown is just a big strong guy

Yeah I watched that last night. Was a good fight. Faber seems a bit too cocky for me to like him as much as Brown. But sure was a good fight.

And that 8 second fight was nice too.
