I recently had a failure in the D-pad, or at least i think that is what it is called, on my nitro racing wheel (won't move left or up). It hasn't left me unable to play but it sure makes it inconvenient. I am looking to get another wheel and wondered if anyone had a list or a link to a list that showed the compatible wheels. I have had decent luck with the nitro but notice turning left it is a little jumpy. I like to race in manual and learned to do so with a shifter but I see some of the wheels do not have shifters.

What are some of you using and why?

if f3 = forza 3, the only one with a shifter and clutch is the pricey fanatec. if you don't need a clutch, the microsoft wheel has paddle shifters.
