I've been waiting a long time for a game like this to come out on PC. My wife loves playing split-screen goofy racing games like this.

The demo is fun. The racing is solid and the track is goofy with a few paths to go around stuff. Power ups aren't all that crazy but do the trick. I enjoyed it it.

I don't know F1 really at all (though I enjoy it) but it seems to be all the current racers/teams, though you can only select like 5 in the demo. But they do do the itsa me thing haha

I was only getting 35-40 FPS and that was not enough for smooth gameplay.

I assume no options for control mapping is just a "demo" thing.

Looks pretty good. I remember playing this old mario kart clone called wacky wheels. I remember the dopefish was in it.

One thing I always hated about Mario Kart was how it helps out the player that's last. DS version was pretty good and people would snake around like crazy but the game would always help the loser out with some good power ups.

It ran perfectly at 1080p on my 5770. Maybe a flash video is open in your browser.

I was about to try out the demo, then i read this. No key mapping is a killer for me...

I expected a lot more given the price tag. This has only rekindled my interest in seeing if anybody is still playing Blur.

You can get it for $32.xx from Gamefly (aka Direct2drive) with the coupon DOWNLOAD. It's a Steamworks game so it has to be registered on Steam anyways.

Bought the game at gamefly - activated in steam, but when I go to install it it basically happens instantly and nothing gets downloaded. Then it says cannot start the game because game files are corrupt.

Any ideas? I've restarted, deleted the directory, verified game files (says everything is ok).. what else can I do?

Ugh - anyone? I've tried a million different things. Steam Beta, completely reinstalling steam, trying a different install directory... should I just ask for a refund?

Yep, they are. The three guys in the opening video are Fernando Alonso from Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton with McLaren and Sebestian Vettel with Redbull. Being a fan of F1, it's actually the characters that is the most entertaining part for me. Though I can't help but think this would be better suited on my PS3.

A complete rip-off if you ask me, both intellectual and monetarily. $45 is just absurd to ask for a title that probably took 1/20th the manpower to pull off as a blockbuster game. As I'm a huge fan of the Mario Kart series I will be buying this...once it hits $5.
