anyone else remember a few years back where only 5 cars finished it was raining so hard? a corvette would have beaten all of those cars as well (more wet traction and probably no pit stops the whole time)

no really they couldn't go around the turns very fast at all due to very little grip on the cars it was so wet. maybe not a vette but a 911 turbo with quattro would definitely have done it.

I seriously doubt that. Those F1 cars have specially made rain tires and even in rain can out accelerate a Corvette and have a much higher top end. Also remember, that a Corvette doesn't have near as much downforce as an F1 car does (3:1).

Crap.. I dont want to watch the game if I can get the results already.. the charm isnt there.. damn capitalism.. If I run a company showing a game, I will show it live, if people want to see it they will wake up to see it.

Who gives a flying f*&k if it's live or not? If you haven't seen the race results before hand and don't know what happened, who cares what time you see it??

If you don't see a movie opening night, it doesn't matter.

I saw the results, but its still exciting..

but my point is that when your make a commitment to show a sporting event, please show it live. I mean the only show that is shown live is the superbowl and maybe a few more shows.

If you live anywhere else in teh world, they show these sporting events LIVE! and guess what even if its 5AM in the morning people will see it.
