F1 2012 graphics settings not being saved

I bought F1 2012 for PC recently and the problem I'm having with it is that the graphics settings won't save. I change the graphics settings to my preferences and when I exit the game, the next time I run the game the graphics settings are set back to the default settings, which is 1920x1080, 8x MSAA, vsync off, everything on high in my system. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still this problem persists. Is this a bug in the game? Should I redownload the game? Is my SSD drive have problems with this game?
