whats wrong with that? i work for an elec contractor (industrial programmer/ system integrator) and we have a PE on staff, a couple EE in the office full time and a brand newbie EE as a drafter. they make decent cash, learn a ton and get that all important time under a PE under their belt for their future. id say hit some of those contractors up for some work.

I also stand with the group saying that if you feel like the school didn't help you in the first go, then you shouldn't be going back. You may want to ask around to people in the field that have their masters if they think it was a big difference maker. It would be really dissappointing and frustrating to spend another couple years of your life in college only to find that a Master's doesn't help that much more than what you already have.
