When death occurs, you simply forget yourself. Your family members and friends become perfect strangers and you let go of everything. Your eyes open again and you start completely new. Its like that chick flick 50 first dates.

Wow. That's kinda young to be dealing with such things in this day and age.

Any surgeries? Bypass? Stents?

I was alone but I literally live 1-2 minutes away (depending on traffic) from one of the best heart hospitals in the area.

You in Syracuse?

Congrats on getting through it! Time to start changing for the better. Sorry about your asshole.

Congrats. Sorry to tell you this, but like Shatner preaches, you're (still) gonna die:

My gall bladder tried to kill me last June, but it only succeeded in turning my skin lemon yellow for awhile. They used little robots to kill it before it could finish me off.

I feel so distressed and despondent these days. Maybe death might be a welcomed relief??

I tried the heart healthy versions of Campbell's Soup and that of some other soups in order to help prevent a heart condition. But they taste pretty bad. So I went back to eating the regular cans of beef and chicken and am concerned if it could lead to a heart attack some day.

It'll lead to something... Cans of anything have lots of sodium, which raises blood pressure.

I'll still be here after I'm dead. If ghosts can type on ouija boards, I can type on someone's laptop.

Doing it wrong. The lining of every can has BPA. There is really no difference between heart healthy and regular soups. So you might as well actually get some calories from your soup so you don't have to eat two heart healthy ones to get enough food.

Your going to have to do better than a major heart attack to get rid of this old bastard.

I feel the same way almost every morning these days.

Tell him to piss off man, good attitude.

Best wishes.

I suspect I've had a minor one or two all ready, I just kick the bastard in the nuts and go to work.

You did it!!

Now, celebrate with a some Krispy Creme Cookie Dough and Java Chip donuts;

1/2 dozen each - it's OK, you need to get your strength back.

All stupidity aside; get better soon, get well and be well.

Damn! Reading about Jim Fixx and this thread makes me want to change my life style. I ballooned to around 340 pounds, I smoke a pack a day and drink occasionally. I'm 6' tall so my heart must really be pumping. I'm acctually afraid to use the tred mill beacise I'm thinking if I raise my heart rate that could trigger a heart attack. I don't know. Perhaps I should eat less fattening food first. No more taco bell and Mcdonalds!
