f-secure antivirus & firewall

I just received an email from my isp offering a free f-secure antivirus and firewall package. I'm currently using AVG + ZA with no problems but AVG has low detection rates I hear. I used to not use any AV with no problems but now I have to worry about the other people who use my pc.

So does anyone here use f-secure? I didn't find anything usefull in a quick search.

i did a review of 11 other antivirus apps, i might add F-Secure to revision 1.5, but its not there now, but if you want to consider the other antiviruses in the review, check it out

link

there are about 3 other freeware antivirus apps that have better detection rates, check out bitdefender free edition or antivir

I use ZA, but i dont think it helps much does it? its a cheap firewall to keep out the basic of attacks

Yeah I've read your review and thats one of the reasons I posted this question since f-secure was not mentioned. Good write-up though.

I've been using ZA for awhile now and it does what I want from it. Lately I've been considering alternatives though since it seems to take forever to load when windows logs on. I've noticed this since sp2 and ver5.1.033.

THanks for the links Mem. 🙂
