I was going to ask a girl out couple months ago but I didnt because from an icq conversations, i thought i found out that she has a boyfriend that graduated ( so much for thinking that I am shrew and deductive)

today, i found out that girl has a boyfriend (though she is not totally sure when I ask her) , but is actually someone in my school!!! f this. If it werent for my cleverly designed "psychological trap" in the icq conversation, I wouldnt think she has a bf already (5 months ago) , and she might be my gf now.

she said, he graduated from highschool

i said: oh , so is me, xxxxxx and ur boyfriend helping u right?

she said: yeah



and of course , I would automatically assoicated her boyfriend to that guy who graduated

Argh!!! i'm in the same position, give or take. Although it backfired in my face, they only way i found to stop thinking about her was to shut her out completely. Don't talk to her, look at her, hang around where you know she hangs around. If that's too difficult for you, just be friendly and say hi/bye when you have to and don't engage in anything more than that. You're asking her to walk all over you.
